Christian Education Ministry Unit: Sunday School, Small Groups, Special Events
The Christian Education Ministry Unit ensures that Eastminster continues to provide Christian educational programs for all age groups during the 9:30–10:30 Sunday School time. The Unit plans and provides opportunities for our June Vacation Bible School, Lenten studies, and small group Bible studies. We also maintain the church library.
Lynda McLean is chair. Members are Nancy Dunn, Betty Barnard, AJ Atkerson, Rosemary Holcomb, Mary Morton, Ann Hoskins, Pastor Michael Frandsen, and Youth Director Micah Dowling. Our library subcommittee consists of Bobbi and Bill Harper, and our Sunday School supervisor is Mike Hartman. If you would like to serve on this vital ministry unit, contact Lynda at 655-0626.
Women’s Bible Study in held Mondays 6:30–8:30 and Thursdays 2:30–4:30 and uses a Beth Moore study guide. Currently the groups are studying Daniel. We are scheduled to start a new Beth Moore study on the book of James beginning January 9, 2012. See Lynda McLean or Mary Morton if you are interested in attending the next study.
